Learning cellular state and response in single cell genomics

Speaker: Fabian Theis, Helmholtz Munich

We are very pleased that Fabian Theis has been appointed as an external scientific member of our Institute. Fabian Theis holds the Chair of Biomathematics at TUM and is Director of the Institute of Computational Biology at Helmholtz Zentrum München. He also heads the Computational Health Center at Helmholtz Munich, under whose umbrella six institutes conduct research into artificial intelligence with a focus on health. He also coordinates the analysis working group of the Human Cell Atlas.
